AMONGKIND
THE GATHERINGS

The room I kept
looking for — built.

Before there was a methodology, before there were venues or partners, there was just this: a room where being honest didn't cost you your credibility.

I spent years in rooms that called themselves networking and felt like extraction. Cards exchanged. Titles compared. Conversations that ended the moment they got interesting, because someone was already scanning the room for the next introduction.

So I built a different room. Small. Invitation-led. One honest question instead of an agenda. No job titles at the door.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Founders, leaders and independent thinkers who are done performing certainty and ready to talk honestly about what building something real actually costs. Not a pitch night. Not a panel. A small group of people willing to be genuinely present with each other for one evening.

HOW A GATHERING WORKS

Twelve people.
One table. One evening. One theme.

The arrival

Each guest is greeted personally. A card with a first name and a human truth — never a job title — marks their place.

The theme

One theme, chosen for that specific room, opens the evening and holds it throughout. Not a script to follow — a thread the conversation returns to and deepens. Nothing you can respond to with a polished line.

The conversation

Facilitated, not performed. The room is held with enough intention that people move past small talk into something real — often for the first time that week.

What follows

A personal letter within 48 hours. Not a summary — a reflection. And, often, a second invitation, to whoever we'd like to see in the room again.

REQUEST AN INVITATION

Twelve people. One table. Your name in the circle.

Gatherings are invitation-only, and rooms are chosen carefully. Join the circle, and you'll be personally considered for the next one that fits.

I built the room I kept looking for. I spent years searching for a place where being honest didn't cost you your credibility. It didn't exist. So I built it.

A NOTE ON SCALE

These gatherings stay deliberately small — this is not the room we're trying to grow into a product. It's the room everything else grows from. The threshold method piloted at Conduit, London is the same discipline we now bring into venues, clubs and organisations.

If you're looking for something warmer and wider — friendship rather than founder-specific depth — that's AMONGKIND Friends, a separate and growing part of the community.

This is the room.

If you've been looking for it too, we'd like to meet you.
